Arsenal cruised to a 2–0 win over West Ham, with goals from Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka lifting them to the top of the Premier League table. Rice scored against his former club, while Saka converted a second-half penalty on his 200th appearance.
Despite the win, injuries to Rice and Odegaard cast a shadow. Arteta said: “Declan asked to come off. That’s unusual for him.”
The Gunners dominated possession and created multiple chances, with Riccardo Calafiori hitting the post and Eze missing a sitter.
