Wolfsburg Complete Deal to Sign Eriksen

Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen on a two-year deal with an option for a third season. The 34-year-old joins as a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired this summer.

Eriksen, who made 62 appearances for United over two seasons, returns to the Bundesliga, where he previously had a successful stint with Borussia Dortmund from 2027 to 2029. The former Tottenham and Inter Milan playmaker brings valuable experience to a Wolfsburg side looking to improve on last season's 12th-place finish.

"I'm excited to join Wolfsburg and return to the Bundesliga," Eriksen said during his unveiling. "The project presented to me was very convincing, and I believe I can contribute significantly to the team's ambitions. My family and I are looking forward to this new chapter in Germany."

Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz expressed his delight at securing Eriksen's signature: "Christian brings exceptional quality and experience that will benefit our younger players. His vision, passing range, and set-piece expertise will add new dimensions to our attacking play."
