Tsimikas Makes Roma Loan Move

Liverpool’s Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas has completed a season-long loan move to AS Roma, the club confirmed on Saturday. The 28-year-old, who has struggled for regular minutes behind Andy Robertson at Anfield, will look to reignite his career in Serie A. Tsimikas, known for his attacking flair and set-piece delivery, brings valuable experience with 86 appearances for Liverpool since joining in 2020.

Roma, aiming to bolster their defensive options, see Tsimikas as a key addition for their European and domestic campaigns. Liverpool manager Arne Slot wished him well, stating, “Kostas is a fantastic professional; this move will give him the chance to shine.” The loan deal includes no purchase option, signaling Liverpool’s intent to retain Tsimikas long-term.
