Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson has departed Manchester City for Fenerbahçe in a £12.1 million (€14m) transfer, ending an illustrious eight-year spell at the Etihad. The 32-year-old, who won six Premier League titles, a Champions League, and two FA Cups, described his time at City as “amazing.”
Ederson’s move follows the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma as his replacement. Known for his exceptional passing and record eight Premier League assists by a goalkeeper, Ederson was a cornerstone of Pep Guardiola’s transformative era. City fans will bid a fond farewell to a club legend.
