🐝 Carvalho's Late Strike Earns Brentford Dramatic Draw Against Chelsea

Fabio Carvalho was the hero for Brentford, as his 94th-minute equalizer salvaged a thrilling 2-2 draw against Chelsea at the Gtech Community Stadium. The result keeps Chelsea’s unbeaten run alive but denies them the chance to go top of the Premier League table.

Brentford took the lead in the first half through Kevin Schade, who latched onto a perfectly weighted pass from Jordan Henderson and finished via a deflection. Chelsea struggled to create chances early on, missing the creativity of Cole Palmer, who started on the bench.

The second half saw Chelsea fight back:

  • Palmer came off the bench and immediately made an impact, scoring a composed equalizer.

  • Moises Caicedo then put Chelsea ahead after Alejandro Garnacho’s cutback was only half-cleared.

But Brentford refused to fold. Deep into injury time, Schade’s long throw caused chaos in the box, and Carvalho tapped in at the back post to snatch a point.
