Turkish giants Besiktas have set their sights on Arsenal’s versatile forward Leandro Trossard, even after the European transfer window closed. According to Sozcu, Besiktas is exploring a potential €22m deal for the 30-year-old Belgian, who has been a reliable squad player for Mikel Arteta’s side since joining from Brighton in 2023.
Trossard, with 123 appearances and 28 goals for Arsenal, is reportedly being considered for a move as the club has bolstered its attack with signings like Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke. However, Arsenal fans are divided, with some valuing Trossard’s clutch performances, like his low left-footed strike against Everton earlier this year, while others see the move as a chance to raise funds. With the Turkish transfer window still open, Besiktas’ interest could intensify, but Arsenal’s decision hinges on balancing squad depth and financial strategy.
