Amorim Told He’s 'Only Got a Few Months Left' at Man Utd

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is under mounting pressure after a turbulent start to the season. Despite a 2–1 win over Chelsea last weekend, former United goalkeeper Ben Foster believes Amorim is “living on borrowed time.”

Speaking on his podcast, Foster said:

“I think he’s got a couple months left. One bad run and they’ll pull the trigger.”

United finished 15th last season and were knocked out of the League Cup by League Two side Grimsby. This season’s inconsistent form has fans and pundits questioning Amorim’s tactics and squad management.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is rumored to be a top candidate to replace Amorim, but Foster expressed doubts:

“United are tired of three-at-the-back systems. Glasner might not be the right fit.”

Other names linked include Gareth Southgate, Marco Silva, and Mauricio Pochettino. Amorim, meanwhile, insists he’s focused:

“Manchester United is my only club. I’m here to build something.”

With Brentford up next, the pressure is on. A poor run could seal Amorim’s fate.
