West Ham Agree Fee to Sign Magassa

West Ham United have agreed a deal with AS Monaco to sign promising midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, marking a significant boost to their midfield options.

The transfer fee is reported to be €17 million, with an additional €3 million in potential add-ons, according to multiple sources. The 21-year-old French talent, versatile enough to play as a defensive midfielder or center-back, has already agreed to a six-year contract with the Hammers.

This move comes as Graham Potter seeks to address West Ham’s midfield woes following a tough start to the 2025-26 Premier League season, including a 3-0 loss to Sunderland. Magassa’s arrival could provide the youth and dynamism Potter has been craving, with medicals and travel arrangements now being finalized.
