Manchester United’s transfer window drama continues as Jadon Sancho is now unlikely to join AS Roma, despite the Italian club submitting a £20 million bid and holding talks with the player. According to Sky Sports, Sancho is exploring other options, with Borussia Dortmund among the clubs still interested.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Højlund is also edging toward the exit door. The Danish striker is open to a move to AC Milan, but only if it’s a permanent transfer. Milan prefers a loan with an option to buy, while United is pushing for a deal that includes a guaranteed sale.
Højlund was left out of the squad entirely for United’s 1–0 defeat to Arsenal, and manager Ruben Amorim has acknowledged the selection dilemma:
“He has to fight for his place. We will see what’s going to happen. Rasmus has the same characteristics as [Benjamin Sesko], so sometimes we need to choose.”
With both players facing uncertain futures and the transfer window closing soon, United’s squad could look very different in the coming weeks.
