Manchester United, Chelsea Agree £40M Garnacho Deal

In a stunning transfer window twist, Chelsea has secured a £40 million deal with Manchester United for winger Alejandro Garnacho. The 21-year-old Argentine, who was sidelined from United’s first team after a fallout with manager Ruben Amorim, is set to undergo a medical in London and sign a contract until 2032.

The deal includes a 10% sell-on clause, marking United’s fourth-highest sale ever, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, and Angel Di Maria. Garnacho, who scored 26 goals in 144 appearances for United, expressed frustration after being benched in the Europa League final, paving the way for his move to Stamford Bridge. This transfer bolsters Chelsea’s attacking options while United continue their squad overhaul under Amorim.
