💸 Flick 'Not Happy' Amid Barcelona Salary Cap Woes for Rashford

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has voiced his frustration as the club struggles to register new signings Marcus Rashford and Joan García ahead of their LaLiga opener against Mallorca.

Despite Rashford’s arrival on loan from Manchester United, salary cap restrictions have delayed his registration. Barça are reportedly working on a €7 million bank guarantee and have raised €11 million from the sale of Francisco Trincão’s remaining rights to Sporting CP. Still, the clock is ticking.

Flick admitted, “You can imagine that I'm not happy about that,” but expressed faith in the club’s efforts to resolve the issue. With Robert Lewandowski a fitness doubt, Rashford’s availability could be crucial.

Meanwhile, García is expected to start in goal, replacing the injured Marc-André ter Stegen. Flick praised García’s potential and confirmed Wojciech SzczÄ™sny will serve as backup.

As Barcelona prepares to defend their LaLiga title, Flick faces a new season with high expectations—and unresolved roster headaches.
