Chelsea have reportedly turned down Bayern Munich’s attempt to sign Christopher Nkunku on loan. The German club hoped to secure a short-term deal, but Chelsea—and Nkunku himself—prefer a permanent transfer if any move is to happen.
Nkunku, who joined from RB Leipzig, has struggled with injuries but remains central to Chelsea’s plans. The Blues are also targeting a wide player and attacking midfielder, but only if two forwards leave first.
Chelsea’s stance is clear: Nkunku is not for loan. The club is building for the future, and short-term deals don’t fit the vision.
