Issues with relationships with players Ten Hag

Marcus Rashford's connection with the manager was strained as a result of his worrying form slide. It wasn't until mid-January that he scored a goal at Old Trafford in any tournament. In addition to being stylistic, Rashford's inclination for a wide role may have been psychological.

Rashford is a fairly sensitive person who once became upset when Steve McClaren offered words of encouragement during a training five-a-side match. The player encouraged the assistant not to put too much pressure on him, even though he had told him he was the guy to score the winning goal.

In his first stint at the club, McClaren worked with forwards like Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, as well as Alen Boksic and Mark Viduka abroad. It is commonly known that he was taken aback by the response, as he had hoped his lighthearted comments would motivate.

It was a sign of difficulty connecting. The Sancho scenario was made even more complex by the fact that some people supported management while others believed that charges of tardiness and lack of commitment to training might also be seen as a sign of poor leadership.

For a while, some United characters did take great pride in their role. Despite receiving external criticism for his body language, Bruno Fernandes was consistently available for selection and desired the ball. He would spend hours discussing strategies since he was so fixated on the game.

However, Fernandes was unable to bring many with him, as his own form ultimately declined. Raphael Varane and Casemiro were also suffering for fitness, Lisandro Martinez was out, and Harry Maguire's role was reduced. Diogo Dalot stood out for improving his status.
