How could we, as mere mortals, dare question Man City's almost flawless procedure? In 2024, they have won 19 and drawn three of their 22 Premier League games. And at the heart of this powerful combination lies Haaland.

Simply put, Haaland will take care of the rest if he has enablers all around him. The technicians who work alongside him make up the bulk of City's team. The fact that Haaland is the only player on the team's official website classified as a "forward" is telling.

His singularity is worthy of its own subcategory.

Guardiola stated last weekend, "What we need is the team to play better and better to give him [Haaland] more balls in the final third."

"With Rico [Lewis], Kevin [De Bruyne], [Ilkay] Gundogan, Bernardo [Silva], [James] McAtee, we're going to create those situations because they're really good in small spaces."

To that list, add Savinho, Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden, and Jack Grealish.

Would Haaland ultimately benefit from a concentration on participation in the pre-goal phase? Or would it just make the smoothest operation currently exist more complicated?

Guardiola continued, "He's playing much better in everything." "The specifics: he remains for twenty or thirty minutes following training sessions. I'm quite happy for him.

Haaland used to be fairly good. It scares me to think that he looks even better now.
